Redefinition of the minimum speed of Broadband

as you can see this is three months old. rs prasad did a big press conference about the same in which he conveniently forgot to mention that 2mbps minimum speed is pre-fup.
 
What baffles me is the fact that the minimum broadband speed definitions and fup have been burning issues all over broadband forums and much sought after queries by broadband consumers and yet none of them from the media ever puts the issues direct in the face if the ministers making big announcements and holding press conferences, to get real answers or some form of clarity and commitment from the people behind making these policies...strange!

The consultation is on "providing adequate information to broadband customers" (such as FUP exhaustion messages), don't think it would be relevant.

(ii) speed of broadband connection upto specified data usage limit; and
(iii) speed of broadband connection beyond data usage limit;
