Question. Has anyone here been approached by a friend or relative with this new MLM scam scheme? I was just approached by a dear friend. Who seems to have fallen in love with this company. Her proof? An article on Forbes. And an advertisement that appears on a Formula-1 car. Other than that, I am just hearing... How can you think of it as a scam? And blah blah. I wished her best of luck with her endeavor. Makes me sad that even educated people from sane families fall for these traps. BTW. She has not told her parents about her investment in this company. Told her to tell them as well.

I was a member of this, went into it cos one of my friend kept insisting me. Purchased the product of the least value some swiss insititute course (products start 30k upwards). Every weekend they used to have sessions, attented a few. Other days they used to keep group meetings on how to get others to join the business. I still wasnt convinced so quit from it. Luckily for me I never brought anyone into it.They even tell that the billiards player Michael Ferreria is one of their members, and recently 2-3 days back read in the papers that Michael ferreria is involved in the 425 crore Qnet scam and the cops want him for questioning. Here is the linkhttp://www.mid-day.com/sports/2014/jan/020113-qnet-scam-case-lookout-notice-issued-against-billiards-legend-michael-ferreira.htm

Most* of MLMs are SCAM.

[*]Amway

[/list]Stay away if you can't make Left-Right/Brother-Brother/Bhai-Bhai links and SCAM other people as well. Only people who earns money are Sponsors, Guys with Good communication skills, Endorsers.
Best way to earn money from them is join their company as Employee rather than Representative.
There was time when my uncle kept pushing my father and aunt to Mom to purchase awesome products for me and my brother Rs.600 Toothpaste, Rs.150 Soap best was a FRIEND of my uncle explaining my Dad to invest in Readymade, Flipkart like e-Commerce website (which actually comes for free after purchasing Rs.30k worth of products) in front of me 😉.

* Actually ALL, there is no simple way to earn legit way. Rather than doing MLM I would consider selling Drugs over road, equal risk sure profit.

Was taken to a "seminar-lunch" by a friend 4 years ago. 3 and half hours 🙁

Middle of the seminar where these people were calling random members on stage who wore suits, took the mike and thanked their parents all the while , me , a commerce student was wondering wtf was the business model. googled it and that was my first introduction to MLMs.

Later I advised my friend to not join and after 2 months, he also came out. Lost 18k. thanked me for showing him the light.

Now, just few days back, my school friend asked me for "business opertunity" I found out its MLM and cost to join is 4 lakhs. many of my friends already joined. These are educated friends btw, two of them even having a fucking MBA. Posted a thread on reddit and my friend found out lol. stopped talking to me 🙁
