Please Help Setup D-LINK DSL2730u.

HelloToday I have got D-Link DSL2730u Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router.Now I am trying to set up it up so that I can use it on my desktop pc [ which doesn't have a wi-fi] but I gave up after several tries.I have the username password for the settings in 192.168.1.1/main.html But nothing seems to be working.As of now what I have done is I have simply connected it with my previous router [utstar] and for now I am able to work on my destkop and connect laptop through the wi-fis. But I want to use the D-link one as both modem router and wife iteslf.thanks[and what should be my airtel password? acccount number ???]
 
yes airtel account number is the passwordi read on one of these forums that airtel remotely reset all passwords to their acc numbers
 
I recently shifted to the 2520U modem. I called CC for help and they had me up and running in 5 minutes. It's the same settings as the 220bx modem. In fact the firmwares seem so similar that I wouldn't be surprised if you can backup the 220bx settings and restore them in the 2520U. As for the password, they can reset that on the spot for you over the phone. Would suggest you call CC.
