Got a call today stating the same thing. I can create a new account and try to create a wallet connected with my primary number. My current account is stuck with the backup number that I was planning to dump. Idiocy.
 
Please be informed that registered mobile number cannot be changed also we can not delete the account for some security purpose. you can do only one thing please stop using your account, default it will be deactivate automatically.

Shit is getting annoying now.
 
Payumoney has wallet? I thought number / email being tied was a problem...
 
The wallet was launched earlier this week. They have partnered with RBL. I emptied my wallet and plan to use this for just credit card payments. Freak show really.
 


Created a second account. Now it has my primary phone number but secondary email id.
 
We'd request you to stop using the account and it will be automatically deactivated.

This is what they say.
 
They have disabled my second account that I created with my primary number. Douchebags.
