New MyWay services

They've just introduced a couple of new value added services. These include railways PNR enquiry, on demand TV shows (free)-although this only has Mahabharat at the moment, on demand fitness videos-some yoga and on demand infotainment - some discovery, NG type programs.I believe that in certain places the time shift technology is already up and running. A little strange that they don't have uniformity on this.

Its a nice development , here are some screenshots of these new services ..

time shift -- I heard its in colors. I tried but did not work. Any idea which channel has that. Also Karoke is not working as of now for me....

:inodding: damn true about their earnestness to help but how recent did you talk to their customer care? as the last time i did they told me that timeshift(& recording & pausing live tv) will be introduced towards the end of the promotional period ..so then we can just stick up a USB flash drive or an external HDD and record live TV and we can also pause live tv with the drive attached to the USB port serving as the temporary buffer...lets just hope that the recorded stuff can be played on a PC later on unlike Tata Sky plus inbuilt harddrive which is married to the STB.
and I don't think timeshift technology is that difficult to implement if one has got the access and storage rights from the intended channels, even aksh optifibre iptv of mtnl had timeshift of upto 14 days but the channels were only a few and that too mostly free to air ones.

HI Jayant, I am covinced with the technical deptt..and guy at a good desig assured me of time shift max by Diwali. Lets hope!!:clap:

Hey has any of you noticed the new "map my india" service under I-SERVICES ??? I think its a cool new development further towards making IPTV an altogether new experience in itself , the attention to details is commendable :clap: and apart from regular features like locating the nearest taxi centers , Hotels , hospitals etc with their address and phone numbers we also have a step by step guide through which we are told as to how we can reach a destination B from source A alongside the distance in kms that each step takes ! (and also from where to take a left/right etc etc)

Will try to upload the screenshots of the same as soon as possible ..

yes, i just happened to notice that..but r u able to change the location to another city apart from the default new delhi?when i type in chennai for example.., and press ok.., nothing happens!

hey i tried doing what you just said and after entering 'Chennai ' and pressing OK it does take my present location to : Chennai ' Tamilnadu !
I suggest you try again ...

I have posted the snaps of this service in detail, keeping new delhi as the current location and they will be visible soon as the moderator/admin grants that post the permission ....

i am not sure but i think myway and aksh are different providers. so e-mailing myway doenst make sense.
