MTNL Delhi Goes Down Every After 10 Mins

Hi All,

I am fed up with MTNL now after 8 years of experience with them. For the last 3 months it goes down every after 10-15 mins and either comes back itself or have to reboot the modem. Below are the specifications and symptoms.

ISP - MTNL Delhi
Modem/Router - MTNL Provided Binatone Wi FI DM856W
ADSL Stats -
SNR Margin Downstream Upstream
16.5 12.5

Line Attenuation 39.6 23.1
Symptom - First Internet light goes off and then sometimes ADSL as well.

What have i Done -
I have reset the modem to factory default and then reconfigured. - Not Worked
I have changed the cable from MTNL Box-MDF (Box on street) till splitter in my home. - Not Worked
I have changed splitter. - Not Worked
I have changed the cable between splitter and modem. - Not Worked
I have changed the modem. - Not Worked
MTNL says everything fine at their end. - Not Sure if they actually checked.

Impressive. Options you've left:

1. Ask for a port change and pray it works out.
2. If it doesn't, and given the options you've explored, it most likely points to underground cable damage. In which case, you should start looking for alternatives .

MTNL is good Until it work smooth. Their technicians are too good in making the Problem more Complicated.
MTNL is a Bitch that looks so sexy from Distant. 🙂 though Plans are Cheaper.
