MTNL 3G Worst Speeds and even worst Customer Care!!

Hi All, I was using "ppshsdpa" from last 1 Year but unfortunately MTNL has blocked that APN and now only "gprsppsdel" is working with GPRS speeds [0.3 download and 0.2 upload]Mbps. Anyone else having same problem with speed?? I am tired contacting CC again and again to get update on my complaints [#335669] but the CC agents says everyone is facing this problem and they cannot do anything.. :angry:What should I do now?? :sad:Thanks,RedHatPerl
 
Oh come on no one is experiencing this problem. I have been using gprsppsdel for more than 9 months now. i get speed over 3 Mbps
 
On a side note, try the apn mtnl3g, leave username and password blank.Cc isn't that bad, mtnl mobile was having issues connecting to my fiber landline, I opened a request for the same and the issue was resolved within a day.
 
Thanks everyone! It looks like either my network area has some problem or my SIM speed has been capped. @x720 I have tried using "mtnl3g" but it does not connect, similarly as other APN are not working. I can get the "H" sign in my HTC Desire HD in UMTS only mode, but do you suggest to reactivate the HSDPA for my number?
 
I posted the wrong APN, mtnl3g is for postpaid customers. Try using pps3g , or pay a visit to the exchange.
 


yes u r right worst Customer Care!! becoz when i call them their excutive did not tell his name ! when i ask his name again he said we r not allowed to speak our name. so strange !!!!!!!!!!!.
 
What one can expect from a government call centre :sIf you getting good speed, then you are lucky, otherwise ask help from fellow forum members.. MTNL CC is the last place to go
 
I found something, you can see the names of CC executives whom you have spoken with, just browse to this page - Complaint Search
Enter your mobile number and you can see all the call details which you have made to CC and name of agent who attended.. I'm going to RIP them off soon 🙂
 
how can i lodge complain for these stupid excutives, so that they teach the lesstion that how can conversate with the custmor.plz give me any seniour excutive mail id.
 
i m telling u my experince, i want gprs setting for my mobile when i call them a excutive says i m sending setting for you ph. i waited half an hour but didn't get setting then i again ring them when i ask a excutive to tell his name he says we r not allowed to speak my name where as if u ring any custmor care excutive they have own company script which they must tell u like "hello airtel(any serive provider) custmor care my name is etc".but mtnl excutives didn't say this particuler script.

So they didnt tell "hello MTNL customer care . . my name is XXXXXX " ?
 
I called them and the lady was very nice, she helped me activate the number and then send the settings to me 😕@bobby! No, they don't say anything like that. It's like, how dare you disturb me son of a pig? /jk..as far as my experience goes, they didn't tell me their name and any such information.
