I called them and the lady was very nice, she helped me activate the number and then send the settings to me 😕

@bobby! No, they don't say anything like that.

It's like, how dare you disturb me son of a pig? /jk

..as far as my experience goes, they didn't tell me their name and any such information.
😛 Even BSNL and Beam executives Don't tell their names .. why is suraj_singh expecting that CC executive will tell their namess?

Anyway, here are the settings if you haven't got them yet :1.Delete any APNs you may be having except the mms ones.2.Create a new internet APN.3. If you are a prepaid subscriber enter apn asgprsppsdel , leave everything else as it is, no username password.or3. If you are a postpaid subscriber enter apn asgprsmtnldel , leave everything else as it is, no username password.4. Save the apn and enjoy your internet.

becoz i m also cust care excutive and i know the process.i found out their name who told me that" we r not allowed speak our name".but i don't know where i complain to such excutives ?

hahahah! You must be in some good customer service process, that indeed pursue some quality 😀

You can report the problems to higher officials in MTNL. Just record the conversation and forward it to TRAI.. TRAI will RIP them off !!!

I was actually going to do so in the morning,

...as when I was on the call that lady without putting the call on hold was chatting with her colleague.

Bleh! At least I got my issue resolved and regarding the speeds.

hmm..the only APN that works for me on my prepaid Delhi sim is "ppshsdpa" (even now). I get "H" signal in my datacard, but because of network congestion perhaps, the speeds hover from 256kbps to 600kbps.
