MTNL 3G roaming charges for data

Are roaming charges applicable when using 3G data, I am a Mumbai mtnl prepaid user but will be visiting Karnataka for a short stay..

As per the MTNL mumbai website

3G data charges of 3p / 10KB will be applicable I even called their customer support and initially they said there are no roaming charges and said that it would be charged as per your home network data pack but later on they changed the story (after I told them that their website says something else) and said that the website info is correct and that I would have to pay 3p / 10KB.

Can someone confirm what is right amongst these?

You would be charged from data pack only.
Those are casual roaming data rates.

For data / internet - No network has different plans.

i.e. data packs are valid all over India.

If no data pack then you will be charged base rates.

So those rates given there are applicable only If I don't have data pack.
And I can load a data pack anywhere in india eg. If Ioad a 1GB data pack the on a month's scheme. Then if I consume that data pack within 1 month the nominal data rates as given on the web site would apply.
