Mobikwik Supercash Explained (Even more useless now!)

So, Mobikwik will give the "Supercash" which is a fancy name for their cashback within 48 hours
(I got mine after 55 hours, but thats not the point for now)

The Supercash will be valid for 45 days from the end of the month where it got added...So upto 75 days, if you get the cashback on say May 1st & 45 days from the end of the month, i.e. May 31st would be around July 15th, which works out to 75 days.. However, if you got the cashback on 31st May.. then it is still only July 15th.. i.e 45 days.

Supercash usable 10% at a time. So unless you keep adding/getting cashbacks. A 50 rupee supercash will get exhausted over around 29 transactions

To illustrate

50 Supercash in account - will give you a discount of Rs.5 making the balance 45
Next transaction - it will you give you a discount of Rs 4 making the balance 41
Next again 4 making remaining 37 & it keeps decreasing by 10% of the balance...
Finally when the balance goes down below 10, they start giving Rs.1 which seems to be the minimum

So for 50 - the usage will be in the form of 5,4,4,3,3,3,2,2,2,2,2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1 i.e. 29 transactions - which needs to be done in 45 days (or 75 in best case scenario)

The only way to make it worthy faster is keeping adding more cashback.. and keep doing more transactions.

There is one reason I am keeping it still i sthat I am able to convert Loyalty points from cards of my 2-3 cards. And that is treated as own cash added & not Supercash.If they had kept a more reasonable limit like 6 months - I would have still kept them as a serious option for transactions
 
They have changed the terms such that for supercash to be used - A minimum of Rs.100 recharge/bill payment has to be done. In other words, if you had 100 supercash left, you could have done a Rs.10 recharge without having to pay extra. Not any more.

And in a weeks' time, they reach the next level of uselessness... If you are using a promocode for a recharge, then supercash will NOT be applied.
 
It took them two additional weeks for reaching next level of !@#$%^&*() . Only 5% of supercash can be used for Recharges & Bill Payments.

Just a matter of time, when supercash will no longer be applicable for recharge & bill payments.
 

Another thing which I noticed just now, and likely introduced with the previous update of 5% for recharges is that you can either earn supercash or use supercash, not both. This was not the case earlier. And its applicable even for non-recharge type transactions as well.
 
After a brief hiatus they are back with worsening their even bad policies

Now, supercash can be utilized max. 3 times a day and 20 times a month....
 
Their supercash utilization rate is 1-2% contrary to 5-10% they claim.
Also every other transaction earns you supercaz but no way to spend it at wanted rate.

The day I found about the Supercash was the day I uninstalled the app. Do anyone still use Mobikwik when there are better options?
 
I guess he is talking about PhonePe, freecharge & Paytm...

Have used all 3 lately....
Paytm : BSES... Rs 100CB Code: bijli
Phonepe : BSES... Rs 50CB
Freecharge: Rs10/ 20 many codes..
 
I manage multiple numbers of postpaid/prepaid mobile/dth/broadband - a dozen perhaps - Dont see others having many offers. In any case, I probably would also dump them at some point...
