Is anyone using this? Need to order one (this or any other) soon considering the pollution situation. A friend has two of Mi's air purifiers and reviewed that it struggles a lot compared to Philips air purifiers.

Til this is not an internet connected model. Dumb machine lol. Just got my unit.

This is the very reason I didn't buy this + it doesn't go a good job. I hope you can return it (if you want to).

I would've recommended Philips AC2882/20. It was available for about 12k on Amazon (15k now), at Flipkart it's still available for 12k.

I've not bought it yet though. Ahem

Not really a big fan of the Mi Home app. Sure it's fun to turn on purifier while you are on your way to the home. The other two models are iot. This one is for my own room. Does the job it is needed to do.

one good thing is that it is nfc free. so i can actually use filters in good condition that nfc enabled units would basically crib about.

as for efficiency. i guess it is poor out of the box because it shipped with the base HEPA Lite filter. I plan to get the proper HEPA filter as replacement once this is ruined through the current winter. That should help I suppose. In any case, the place where I spend most of my time, pollution is not really much of a problem so this should logically work fine for me.

So basically all you've is an LED indicator to know if the air is clean or polluted. What color was it displaying when you turned it on?

i do like the design of this model though. in other models there is a plate at the back that is removed to access the filter. in this you basically remove the top part. so you have two separate units. one is just fan. and one is the filter container. much convenient.
