I've been using the Rs. 99 "mms pack" which gives me unlimited mms and wap usage on the phone per month. It was working fine (although slow, but that's BPL, i mean, Loop for you) - I was posting images to twitpic (We are moving Twitpic to its new data center - Twitpic) via the email feature and I've sent some email to people with photos as attachments.
However, a few weeks ago, my mms service kinda went kaput. The phone would send the messages, but they wouldn't get delivered anywhere. No mms, no email. I called up support and got my mms working again, but email is still borked.
I could call them again, but I'm not sure they'll understand what I'm talking about.
You see, this mms pack is mms and wap only. BPL/Loop says you can't send/receive email using the phone's email client with it. Yet, if you send an mms to an email address, that worked - although it'll go from 98210xxxxx@bplmobile.com. If I tell them that this is how I've been sending email in spite of the fact that I've just got the email-less mms pack, they'll go WTF and disable it for everyone on the system!
:O
Seeing how unpopulated this BPL/Loop section of this forum is, I doubt any of you are going to respond to this concern, but I'm going to go ahead and try anyway...
