Is SMC good in India for network products

Hi,I checked out this router on one of the online shopping websites it seems a good deal but I have no idea about its support and service infra in India router is : SMC WBR14S-N3 N 300MBPS Wireless Broadband RouterFor a 300 Mbps it seems to have a good price i think 1.7Kthe SMC website looks good and it seems that router is ok, my only worry is if it has a good India after sales support.Also if any members have used their products it will be great to know the feedbackThanks

u cud get D-Link dir 615 in tht range. 300mbps wireless N.

Yes i did look at that but the D-Link dir 615 doesnt support WDS from what i remember

umm..with Dir 615 u get DD-WRT (installable)..so u get WDS and much more..

i installed ddwrt on dir 615..works fine. use the brainslayer builds.

( ground floor coverage 30 feet wall obstructions. )SMCWBR14S-N3 provides a multitude of features for the mostdemanding network requirement including Wireless DistributionSystem (WDS), Dual SSIDs, Static and Dynamic Routing (RIP v1,v2), Quality of Service (QoS) and more..........................WDS enables you to use similar model ( preferred ) to use them as wifi repeater. to increase the range. ok cool since essbebe has used SMC product .. will go with SMC as i wanted to try out something with non mainstream companies thanks every1 for the suggestions and inputs.
