I am planning to get Sun direct hd, can I get signal in laptop if I connect Sun direct hd set up box to laptop via hdmi cable? or even if I connect via hdmi cable do I need tv tuner card between setup box and laptop?
You need a TV tuner card, but I doubt it will work with HDMI. Only SD version will work.
As per desktop, its the same.
If you have a monitor with HDMI input and separate audio jack, it might work with HD version.
laptop got hdmi input and audio input via 2.5mm actual hdmi supports video and audio both so it should display in laptop when connected via hdmi cable directly without any tv tuner card right?
