How to access YouTube on Amazon Fire TV Stick now?

Based on reports, YouTube might disappear from this device next month. Even though it is not an official app from Google from my understanding.

In a statement, Google said, "Amazon doesn't carry Google products like Chromecast and Google Home, doesn't make (its) Prime Video available for Google Cast users, and last month stopped selling some of (our sister company) Nest's latest products. Given this lack of reciprocity, we are no longer supporting YouTube on Echo Show and Fire TV," Google said. "We hope we can reach an agreement to resolve these issues soon."

Amazon said in a statement, "Google is setting a disappointing precedent by selectively blocking customer access to an open website."

Unless YouTube is blocked inside a browser running on Amazon devices, this is nonsense. They have a right to control their APIs. But the website should load inside a web browser. Blocking access to that on certain devices would be problematic.

performance would be terrible even if it works. youtube is really not designed to work well inside browser on non-PC devices.

ui is pretty similar to an app. but without casting support from youtube app on phone, it is not very convenient to use. my niece is very used to using the cast button to switch from phone to tv to watch her arts and craft videos.

fire tv remote app is too annoying to use ?. loses connection as soon as you switch focus out of the app. even the hardware remote is too glitchy for me. could be the same issue that @Nishant was facing on his unit. he argued with Amazon customer support to get a replacement under warranty. he was asked to order a new remote (which costs as much as half the cost of the fire tv stick itself!) and then he was to get a refund of that amount or something like that.
