Hi,

I am wondering how does one configure an ADSL router cum modem with a Wimax connection with a static IP address?

The model is Linksys WAG 120N. It has one DSL port and 4 ethernet ports.

The Reliance wimax connection gives me one Ethernet connection from the POE.

I want to use the router as a wifi DHCP server for my laptop and also for a cabled connection to my desktop.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

You only need to post this question once - and *please* use the correct thread. Tata, Reliance and Tikona may all have their systems set up separately, so we know which service we are talking about.

I answered your question here https://broadband.forum/tata-indicom-wimax-broadband/63713-does-one-configure-adsl-modem/#post431700

Sorry about that .. The thing is that I have a Tata Wimax right now and am switching to reliance Wimax in the next day or two. Hence the multiple posts. Both connections are 'always on' with a static ip
