Hi,

I am using internet for the last 5 years. Till yesterday everything was fine. Today when i try to open gmail it was not working and finally i concluded none of google applications are working. Everything else is working.

HELP !!!

which DNS are you using?

If you are on MTNL DNS... try using Google/OpenDNS.... 8.8.8.8 / 208.67.222.222

Just added Preferred DNS (Primary) 59.179.243.70 and Alternate DNS (Secondary) : 203.94.243.70. given by MTNL Delhi on my TP-Link router.

Boom.... everything working now.

Just want to know why i have to add it when it was working for years now.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

It's more likely that they are blocking access to MTNL users. Try installing TunnelBear and see if it helps.

I am crazy....

Until yesterday my internet was working without any dns or any settings and now all this happening. Anyone who can suggest me how to fix it?

Maybe MTNL decided to implement the bans today and in the process messed up their default dns servers.
