Good News for South Regional viewers of Tamil Nadu as Tata Sky has launched the no. 1 news channel in Tamil Nadu – Puthiya Thalaimurai. Puthiya Thalaimurai is a 24/7 News channel for international Tamils to watch news in Tamil. The channel has been added on channel no. 813 and will be part of:

Old Packaging: South Jumbo Pack, South Saver Pack, South Value Pack, South Starter Pack, Super Saver Pack and Super Value Pack (all versions)

TruChoice Packaging: Tamil Regional Pack

All types of Mega Pack

It is also available as an ala carte at Rs. 5 pm
 
So finally some additions are happening in Tamil SEgment i guess with in 30 days TS has added 2 Tamil Channels...This news channel is indeed a quality tamil news channels which is a great addition to the platform...
 
Was looking forward to this addition for some time, good to know that it finally happened.TS still lags behind other platforms but I guess that was to be expected because of the transponder shortage.
