Gigabit port on BSNL's Syrotech ONU

Why does it matter which one is gbit? Left or right, it will be written in the manual or on the port itself?
 
I'm using it, one of the port is gigabit. Try both. Don't remember which one specifically.

I didn't see it written anywhere though, so you'll just have to try and see at what speed it negotiates.
 
With 100mbps plan, both are giving almost the same speed. So, confused.
 
That's not what you need to check. You need to check the link speed, it would negotiate at 1000 mbps if it's gigabit.


Now your internet speed would vary. It would also depend on LCO equipment. Also a 100 Mbps plan would give only that much right. 😅😅
