Gaming connection

I recently shifted to banglore..so i need a new connection..i am a hardcore gamer so ping matters a lot..since i cant use broadband here due to some reasons..i was wondering whether tata photon or reliance netconnect (wireless services) would do well for gaming...P.S:I mainly play counter strike...
 
wireless connections and good ping times usually do not work together.
 
you would be lucky if they provide constant connectivity. pings are likely to be horrible. i am not sure about the newly launched 4G LTE services but photon and netconnect are likely to give you awful pings.
 
Tata Photon and Netconnect is not really for gaming, you would be really lucky if you even get good speeds.Do you have 3G in Bangalore? You can give it a shot.
 

I am referring to reliance 3g and not netconnect evdo. Ping is around 70ms around here to the Hughes server in Delhi. Vodafone's is 85ms. I'm not so sure whether it'll work out well though
 
Unless the server is located in Bangalore, forget about gaming on any wireless connection. the lag would be terrible. Can't you get any wired connection? Even BSNL would do.
