Error 691 : Invalid Username Password

Hi , Been facing this problem since yesterday . I am getting Error 691 : Invalid Username and password . I am using bridge mode .I have not changed my password .has this anything to do with the issue yesterday .. of the redirection to the limit exceeded page ?has anybody been facing this problem ? . I am in pune (Bibwewadi)

I think many faced this problem.In your tcp/ip properties if you have put IPs manually then reset it to automatically.save it. Restart your pc.

I solved my problem in this way.
 
is this solution for the redirection problem or the error 691 problem ? ....the redirection problem was solved yesterday itself .. from today i am facing thisnew error 691 ....i have disable DHCP in my router so i have to manually assign IP 's ...
 
so basically its saying to configure the modem in pppoe mode and not bridge mode ???? . when i was getting the 691 error, i tried to configure it in pppoe mode but it still failed ...
 
I am not sure if that's the solution but my problem (one of my friend's problem too) has been solved.and I ( and he too)am in bridge mode.
 

Today I was having connecting problem, when I went to there office, I found many people had same problem of connecting to WAN miniport PPOE and it wasn't moving forward.Later was told it was BSNL problem and took 5 hrs to get connection back.
 
I also faced this problem. Intially I thought it was something to do with bridge mode and I changed it to PPPOE. There It was saying the remote computer did not respond. After about 7-8 hours, I got connection back. I am still in bridge mode only.

wat am doing to solve this problem is to create a batch file
rasdial Dataone Username Password
Still i have to click on it twise atleast to get connected :wall:😕😢
 
I had this problem , to solve this I went to my brother's housewho also have BSNL connection,logged in to my portal ID and changed my Dataone password and then it's working fine. 🙂The solution you have to reset your password ,even if you never changedit by yourself.It really does not matter which mode you are using.
 
I get the same problem all the time and still do 🙁 Tried changing passwords but nothing happens same thing happens again 691 !!! I am lucky that I am connected now
 
i am getting error 691 for invalid username and/or password when i connect to MTNL broadband. This only happens wen i try to connect frm my laptop. Net is properly connected on my desktop.I am using the router on bridge mode.CAN ANYONE PLS HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM!THANK YOU REGARDS
 
try obtain IP address automatically.Apply Save In laptopStart/Network/ LAN or wireless LANPropertiesTCP/IpPropertiesApply Save. Mention your modem/router model /make.Do you connect laptop in wifi mode or via LAN port ?
 
i have the router given to me by mtnl-(ut-304r2) and it is already in acquire ip automatically mode! and my OS is vista on laptop whereas it is xp on the desktopi connect it by LAN.
