Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) News & Updates

The EPFO has been highlighting and claiming this for quite some time now. The question is, does this actually work? For my PF withdrawal, I had to call up the sarkari office.An EPF trust is much more transparent in this regard
 
I was able to see the balance as 2-3 months old (They do take a while to update) of the amount that is there.
 
When I withdrew my PF couple of years back, My previous employer did all the follow up after I filled the form and submitted to my Ex-Employer.Got the PF Money in straight 24 Days into my account.
 
Hmm.. this is more for balance checking. Withdrawal/Transfer ofcourse you might need to follow up a bit. What most people (HR-friends) tell me that inter-state transfer takes a bit long. Withdrawal is normally ok.
 
Till now anyone able to see their details? I registered but my details are not updated
 

Did you give download passbook after you logged in?I was able to see my details.
 
Yes and after that it said data not available, something like that error. Don't remember exactly. Will check and post the screen tomorrow
 
I think some friends said you need request and they will let you know when it gets updated.Yeah, do post the screenshot & then maybe I will confirm with my friends if they got same message, and if so, what they did.
 
Salaried employees in organised sector will have to provide their Aadhaar numbers for seeking benefits under the EPF scheme being operated by retirement fund body Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). Over 50 million existing EPFO subscribers would be required to furnish their Aadhaar numbers to the body by June 30 this year. It will also be mandatory for new members to submit their Aadhaar numbers as part of the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification from March 1, 2013.

In the face of stiff opposition from trade unions, retirement fund body EPFO may put "in abeyance" its decision to make it mandatory to furnish Aadhaar number for its over 50 million subscribers and new members.
