@Aakash Malhotra Yeah, had the same issue just a couple minutes ago but then it went away, atleast for me, unless it's on n off which is annoying as usual.

it is a dns issue because i can connect to vpn and access the same domains at the same time just fine.
on a site like twitch, you are not really connecting to one domain. if the videos are working fine, it means that the cdn delivering the video content does not have dns issue. but other domains being used to serve ui components on twitch domain do.
ever since i moved to dnscrypt, i have not faced any issue with excitel. because it stops excitel from intercepting with my dns queries.
Hi saurabh.
I need to switch to a different dns server with excitel on the router level.
Did you find a solution?

Also, i tried to use dns changer apps that operate through vpn, and using those too, i am not able to change the dns server for wifi(excitel). When i use my mobile data, the dns server change works fine.

So i am looking for two solutions, one is for router level way, and one on android device with free dns changer apps that work through vpn.

Thanks.

If you mainly use a PC to do work Simple DNSCrypt this will work as a nice and easy solution to the problem and can even work network wide if you want ( set up as gateway ) .

Cons include :
O : Not learning about openwrt IMHO the best custom router firmware.
O : Slower than a router if used as a gateway.
O : ??? Help me @john_dud to make him join openwrt (/s)

Pros include :
O : Comparatively easier solution.
O : Nice comprehensive list of Resolvers.
O : Quick resolution of problems by the GitHub dev !

Off-topic question : Can I ask why was my post edited ? I am new here did I break some rule ?

How did you setup that?
