The Delhi High Court on Monday sought the response of the Delhi University on a petition seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against it for failing to implement the biometric attendance system for its teachers.DU's lawyer told the court that a resolution had been passed for adopting the system before the next academic session commencing in July. However, the court issued a notice to DU Vice Chancellor Dinesh Singh and Registrar Alka Sharma. Justice GS Sistani sought their reply on an affidavit by August 7.
"University of Delhi is committed to adopt and implement measures which are favourable and beneficial to the university system as a whole, such as biometric attendance system for teachers," said an affidavit filed by DU on September 19, 2012 in response to a PIL. The university had tried to introduce the system in 2009, but had to hastily withdraw the decision after the Delhi University Teacher's Association (DUTA) went on strike in protest.

Well see, it works like this: For everything in our Country, One place has to implement it OR IT HAS TO BE STARTED SOMEWHERE so that the rest can be questioned as to WHY THEY DIDN'T FOLLOW SUIT when the rest(read one or two) have implemented it(against their will) WITHOUT issues(according to only them). Lol like as if they ask people their choice.Same as for How EVERY SCAM in the Country, you ask THEM WHY It WAS NOT Taken To TASK, AND STILL THERE AIN'T NO OUTCOME, They'll ALL Just start pointing Fingers saying, Oh They too were involved, that person also did, etc. or Well don't we have the Rapes to Worry About or the Bomb Blasts Just to Divert the Topic and Dumb Down the Situation and the People, Media, etc.So once it is implemented they will start off with the whole bullshit of trying to pose the positive implications of the system TOTALLY IGNORING THE ACTUAL AND NEGATIVE IMPLICATIONS OF THEM! So that the people(READ SHEEP) will buy into them OR WILL HAVE TO FOLLOW Regardless because the OTHERS ARE DOING THE SAME!Like some comment I read somewhere when the people were asking about a certain incident and how come that person was still in power, etc. There were FOOLS who actually retorted with Oh THe Other Party too was involved in Communal S#!T Etc!I was like WTF is wrong with these ar$3#0l3S! Dudes, Instead of Asking Why Neither of THEM were questioned or Brought to Task, These Fcuking Dopes are Fighting Over How to Justify Each Other's Faults! SWEET! THERE WERE PEOPLE(HUMANS FIRST) KILLED(LIKE ANIMALS OR MOSQUITOES) YOU DUMB FCUKS! And Now We Wonder WHY WE CANNOT SAVE OUR COUNTRY?! Seriously?! With this kind of a stupid mentality of Keep Pointing Fingers and Keep Taking the Eye off the MAIN TARGET Attitude, I think Things are WAY Beyond Hope and Redemption!WHY in the FCUK Do YOU Keep Voting Between the Two Devils REPEATEDLY is My SIMPLE fcuking QUESTION?! You like Taking Turns Getting Fcuked Between Them is It? So that you can Sit on Your Ar$3 for the rest of your pathetic life and COMPARE later Who was worse in their term, Or AGAIN Sit and point fingers as to who Fcuked up the Country More or Humped more Lakh Crores After Each Term!RATIONAL THINKING + LOGIC = ROYALLY FCUKED!!!

Education Minister is not at liberty to speak about the developments? Good stuff.

Hmm so HRD Ministry has distanced itself from the issue. And Congress is blaming BJP for the mess. They have forgotten that these 4 year courses were introduced when they were in power. While the students are left hanging midway.
So nothing new. Achche din indeed.

Also KCR in Telangana said that local status would only apply to students whose parents also studied in telangana. So technically these students would be non locals in telangana. Irony is that even if these students go to AP, even there they will be considered as non local students.
Approx 50,000 students are left without local status and there has not been any reaction from HRD. Some acche din these.
