right. these are not uploading or downloading tools. they are supposed to run in the background. and they sync in the background. skydrive would show you remaining stuff. so would drive. both show how much data is left to be synced. but i doubt there is any progress bar offered by either.also do not upload pirated content to your skydrive. microsoft is known to suspend accounts for content that infringes on terms and conditions. also check if they allow files as large as 3GB. they have some size limits. i do not remember what exactly the limits are for different services.
 
upload completed. Google drive sure allows a single file larger than 3 GB (my file was 3.75GB) to be uploaded at onceno pirated files. Just personal pics.
