ADSL routers doesnt have RJ45 WAN port instead it has RJ11 port now,is it even possible to use the router in bridge mode.I don't think so.

i managed to convert my adsl router to a wan ethernet router bhai , you are late to the party 😛

@Evilbrain but you hiding ip address & MAC address is of no use... you have already shared your MAC 0C 6A BC DC C6 DE already in your pics, and as much as i know jio provides dynamic ip.. so.... 😉 😉

in my navite i thought i just had to plug the ethernet cable to my D-Link router and i will get wifi .. darn it

hopefully i will figure how to make this thing work soon

ps: internet speed so far has been niceee

first time using anything above 40mbps 😛

intitially when the dude left after installing the modem , i faced 2 disconnections back to back , but the connection has been stable for a few hours now ( as it should)

if anyone have any questions of sort

btw i am in jaipur , rajasthan
Which area in Jaipur?

@Evilbrain please share speedtest result of local and international server(Singapore, japan,uk,USA,netherland).
Share speed over lan and wifi? Your D-Link wifi has MIMO capability so you might get full 100mbps speed.

I have exactly same adsl modem. Can you tell me which firmware version you have flashed in dlink modem, Also post link if possible?
do you think 2500rs modem is worth the hassle over using dlink as wifi router with 1500rs modem?

1500rs is security so if you decide to return your connection then you will get full refund, Right?

@Evilbrain Thanks a lot for all information shared, for which, I was waiting.

Also please share the speed test results of local servers and international servers and an image of the router rear side view where all terminations are done.

I have noticed from your giga router home page, the VOIP service of your router is pre-activated, but not used so far, as Outgoing Call to, Incoming call From and Call status are N/A. May be the service is not configured so far. You may also throw some light on VOIP ( Jio Land Line) service, which your sales / Technical guy might have shared with you.

@MSR Murthy the voip service is working , they did gave me a unique landline number and calling is free pan india . However that being said i am never using a landline again.

I would be happy to do any network speed tests you want, just send me the link to the webside . I am only familiar with fast.com

i have downloaded >70GB in less than 24 hours of activation
