Bsnl Kalyan Line Down

The broadband Dataone was down from 18th march morning 9 am to 20th march 4 pm in Dombivli Area. I do not know about other areas of Kalyan ssa. The landline telephone was also down on gudi padwa day upto 12.00 noon. On approaching the authorities do not give any reason, but said it will start working from 20th afternoon. The authorities should atleast display a notice board indicating the reasons and likely time of restoration.Is this because, there is no competition to BSNL Dataone now ?
