what will be monthly bill in postpaid included all type of taxes? and 20% discount is for evdo too

and i'm sorry mistakenly mentioned wrong modem, its TP LINK TL-MR3020 Portable 3G/3.75G Wireless N Router | Router | Flipkart.com and it support evdo cdma too.
i dont have a laptop. have desktop and Nokia n79 so want to use internet on nokia divice without log on into pc.

and i dont want it for travelling, what i was thinking that as i have desktop so if i go somewhere (evdo enabled location) will i be able to get internet via this router?

monthly charge would be 750 + 10% service tax which is clearly mentioned in the website

about the router part , i dont know
never heard or read anywhere about someone using evdo on a router to create a wifi connection , guess u have to try it on ur own
but flipkart reviews says users have used reliance and tata evdo connections

yes , their site says so
so might get the discount for modem

i would suggest u to go prepaid for first month , after trying it out u can go for postpaid

please tell me how to sweep with plans in postpaid? its really confusing.!how to activate 750 plan and then in next month shift to 550? and how to be on general plan again?what if we don't act any plan, have validity, and recharge with stv (55/-rs one day unlimited)

for post paid , u need to give request
for prepaid u need to make recharge ie STV

if u arent in any plan then u will be charged as per ur usage , but for the same u need to have balance in ur SIM

Data charges :
Peak Hours : Rs 0.10/100 KB
Off - Peak Hours (11 PM to 7 AM ) : Rs 0.05/100 KB

stv 55 , u will get 1 day ULD download .

validity is ur SIMs validity , not ur plan validity !!

but how is user experience with bsnl evdo?
how much speed they provide ?

read post #1

heh. it solely depends on how close the evdo enabled bts is to your place. If all is well, expect around 2mbps, else, it can even be as bad as 0.1mbps

I was looking to go for BSNL EVDO...was wondering the experience???I already read the thread..still wanted to know how lucky you have to be to get good speeds?? -_-

I need some advice.. 😕

Advice is simple.

Try it on the expense of 1000rs for data card and 50 rs for cdma sim
Or if any of ur friends have try it thru them 🙂

Try Lava W150 pocket/travel router it also has a battery for backup

Travel. Router will be a bad idea with cdma

Applied for a Evdo connection. Some guy called gave a number of someone who will come and give demo. That no. is always not reachable.Called their CC and they gave me another number which also no one picks.Crap.If they dont wanna sell their product to me their loss.
