bsnl broadband on linux

hey guys i want to reset my utstarcom ut300r2u modem and set it to automatic mode.right now its in pppoe mode, i have to enter "pppoeconf" command in my ubuntu(linux) to set it right but the problem is its not workin in slackware which i want to use from now on.so i want to set the modem to automatic mode that i dont have to enter usr name and password.any idea how to do that ?

you got a GUI tool for DSL connection ... Gnome PPX ............. you should use Wvdial ... for it and add the config file to run those conf ..... or you can have Qinternet .... that was good one .
