After CLIP Fraud, here comes another one by Airtel. These guys are insane. they are using their brilliant mind for doing wrong acts . Shame on them.
 
All the operators indulge in petty fraud, these are petty. I'm sure airtel did not grease palms of somebody really big, so the penalty......Remember !dea was penalized sometime ago for taking over Spice and not informing, the excuse was that their stake in Spice exceed 10% in a circle or something like that.......
 

Yes, and again Idea, Vodafone and Airtel had done fraud by manipulating 3G Roaming license. I Wish DOT soon hit back all 3 after legal consultation.
 
Penalty will be passed on to the customer!
Using the services is a penalty, passing on this penalty will be a double whammy!
 
airtel looting people..i had 98 rs plan activated and had some 153 mb left in gprs account. as usual i checked my gprs balance and then surfed on phone..but after some time net disconnected and it showed 0 balance... even the main balance of 194 rs was deducted.called cc they said it has been used... they just dont listen.i am absolutely sure about my usages. have been using airtel gprs since is launch 10 yr back.so i know how much data i use.few days before they even deducted some 50 rs for clicking on hungama service.. which i didnt cklick at all.please help me what to do to these looters.if Mobile Number Portability is the only option then please suggest a good operator that doesnt charge roaming between mumbai and maharashtra?

This one criterion rules out Vodafone, because it seems that you are using a prepaid connection.
