The Indian summer has arrived and the scorching heat has taken over our lives. To provide some relief to our customers from the heat, we have introduced our all new Online Recharge facility. So no need to fear the heat stroke or prickly heat...now you can recharge from the comfort of your house! - Online Recharge

have you officially arrived in Gurgaon? i would have to switch from aircel to vodafone/reliance/tata because of 3G reasons.

What rubbish is this... service not available for Maharashtra and rest of Maharashtra. Seriously docomo sucks!

"...service not available for Maharashtra and rest of Maharashtra..."

What you meant was...?

@TATADOCOMOYour online recharge facility does not seem to support all available recharges. For example, there is no option to recharge with GPRS packs 48 and 95. Only 15 and 33 is in the available options. Why is it so?

Thanks for the feedback. We are rectifying the erros of online recharge facility.

^^^ Does recharging with 48 through sites like rechargeitnow activate GPRS pack?

Got double charged when I was recharging because the session kept coming up as failed via netbanking. FYI, if the transactions seem to fail or report a page error post login, don't assume it's not gone through.

Hi weedmonk,

Please provide us your Tata DOCOMO number so that we can resolve your problem asap...

Hi srk006,

^^^ oh great!! Did I mention any problem specific just to me? :impissed:
I just asked a general question on whether recharging through third-party sites activate GPRS pack.

Thats the funny part about customer care in India. They need your account number even when it is not necessary.

RechargeItNow.com doesn't support Tata Docomo's STV (Special Tariff Voucher) Recharge.
So it won't activate the GPRS plan when you recharge for Rs 48, it would be topup amount.

Try ezrecharge.in instead.
ezrecharge.in support all Tata Docomo's STVs.
Choose "DocomoSpecial" as Service Provider upon doing the recharge.
It would activate the Plan that is meant for the recharge amount.

I recharged for 160 Rupees and got 350 minutes talk time in Tata Docomo.
But ezrecharge would charge 7 Rupees extra for facilitating the STV Recharge.

Thanks @raddy. But is the transaction through ezrecharge secure? I don't see any SSL certificate from Verisign or any others.

You are not going to provide your Bank Account or Credit Card details in ezrecharge.in for the website to be secure.
ezrecharge.in would transfer you to CCAvenue or EBS secure payment processing websites wherein you would be providing your confidential information.
If you want to keep your Mobile Number, Operator Name and Circle confidential, then do not use ezrecharge.in to recharge your mobile account.

Hi,
Greetings from ezRecharge.in !!!

@RADDY - Thanks for encouraging and promoting our product.

@SRK006 - ezRecharge.in is 100% secured.
As Raddy said, we are using two payment gateways (CCavenue and EBS). Both the payment processors are verified by Visa and Secure Mastercode which are used for all Visa/Mastercard payments as per RBI guidelines.
CCAvenue uses the most powerful Verisign secure socket layer (SSL) for encrypting customer data during transmission.
EBS uses the best industry-standard 128 bit SSL (Standard Sockets Layer) Verisign Technology, which protects the clients information.
To put this into non-technical terms, it would take 340,000,000,000 years for today's fastest computers to crack Verisign SSL.

We assure you that "YOUR PRIVACY IS HONOURED".

Happy recharging with us !

with regards & support,
ezRecharge Support team.
