I got something like this mail from Reader digest but they did not send me any money 🙁
 
yeah. i am used to getting mails from readers digest (even snail mail spam!). i initially thought it was from them. but noticed that this is another company.
 
even Reader Digest them selves did send spam mails through post..
 
checked. it is from the India Today Group. Looks like they got inspired by Readers Digest and started their own scam campaign.
 

OT: I am about to hit 2k posts soon never though I would ever be doing it on any forum lol

did not click any link. would have been a good way for them to track my email id. there are enough posts on consumer court forums (doh. i have always wondered how many people posting on these forums think that they represent the actual consumer court of india. 😕 ) on the web to prove that it is a scam. and of course the official website states that it is from the India Today group.
