hi, We has people from reliance in our society who said they would be proving Triple service (Landline, broadband & IPTV). They wanted permision to lay cables in sociey so that connections can be provided. Can some body please let me know review of reliance IPTV. How it compare to DTH service?? In their website, atleat, they claim to have HD Channel, 50 hours of recording & other interesting features... Can some body please guide if it is worth taking IPTV over DTH or for that matter Hathway Digital cable connection that I am currently having? Regards

guess no one has opted for it, i haven't heard many users of BSNL IPTV also, even though it was launched a long time ago :thumb:
 
i use bsnl iptv in Bangalore & it sucks - not because the quality is bad or because of the technology, but because bsnl gives only abt 90 channels & most of them are useless. not sure abt reliance, but heard tht Reliance IPTV is very good. they have coupled with microsoft to provide iptv
 
Not launched yet, and hence very difficult to get any info. Customer Care people says its in trial and has been given to some hunderds of people in different cities on trial basis.Its been long when I inquired about Rel IPTV. Donno what they are planning and taking such a long time. Though its website gives a very nice impression of services including Full HD transmission. If true, will revolutionise the TV viewing in India. Might be delay due to HD content agreement with Channels etc.... Hope for the Best!!
