Just saw that plans have been revamped on the official Airtel site.Could this be in anticipation of Jio Fiber?

As for my city (Bangalore),we have increased data with new prices.Only weird thing is that previously the 799 plan had 100 GB data,but now they have reduced this to 75 GB which is regressive to say the least.

799 plan/40 Mbps/75 GB (Bonus data - 500 GB)
999 plan/40 Mbps/200 GB (Bonus data - 750 GB)
1149 plan/100 Mbps/300 GB (Bonus data - 1000 GB)
1399 plan/100 Mbps/500 GB (Bonus data - 1000 GB)
1999 plan/100 Mbps/Unlimited GB (Bonus data - 1000 GB)

Bonus Data valid till 31st March, 2019
 
The guy who came here to get us registered for V fiber told me Airtel gives the router for free, but I can't find that information anywhere else. Can anyone confirm please? I paid advanced rental
 
Correction: earlier i mentioned that bonus data validity was till March 31,but i just got 500 GB bonus and CC told me it's for 6 months.
 
what happened to their 300 mbps plans, did they discontinue?

16Mbps is the max speed I can get in the area but if you have access to 100Mbps they'll give you that speed. My Data says 1510GB because my 1000GB from last year never expired and I have a monthly 10GB bonus from way back.
 
Old customers do not get new plans. Just today I changed plan to 1149 plan, but I get only 150GB per month instead of 300GB
