AirTel 3G speeds on Rs.98 Pack?

Hello Guys.My friend using an AirTel connection is getting 3G speeds on his 2G Data Plan (Rs.98 - 2GB - 30 Days Validity). Whereas, i'm not getting on both of my SIM cards in Chennai Circle. Anyone else getting his offer? Or facing the similar problem? =)
 
they have fixed this bug for most people and 98 bucks now give you 1GB.

OMG. Thats very bad of them to fix up this bug . My friend still gets though 😕
 
Yeah, for me i got the 3g speeds such as 1.5mbps, 2.2mbps for more than a week in every month out of 6 months. i usually use the 6gb 2g plan. once the data finished it gone. when i put another 6gb the speed stuck up with 60kbps. but it exists in all month. so i decided to use the 3g speed. i used to browse only and not download anything. it lasts till the end of the month. but this month i got 3g speed the first day of the month, then it gone though data exists, a week earlier 3g speed came at night but when the net disconnected it again gone. i dont know what happens. can i make it all the month by any hack when it(3g speed) comes again
 
do we get the same 3g speed in 3g dongel ?

i m using airtel 3g usb dongle - Huawei e 153u1

I bought 3G unlocked modem in ebay. I kept airtel sim and recharged with 98rs plan. But iam getting normal speed only (2g speed only). I am also from chennai. can you explain me how to achieve the 3g speed trick ?

dude I activated my sim to 3G and iam getting CYAN color indication in my modem.
 
These 3g speeds on 2g plans tricks are long gone... Just imagine those who have exploited Aircel 2g 98/month true unlimited pack.... Lol... Pure Masti...
