Aircel indulges in activating unauthorized VAS services

I've ported a number 9652987015 about a month ago, to AIRCEL. All was fine until, i recharged it with rs.30 on 09-10-2012. subscribed 2g data pack for 3 days @ Rs.14. In the following days, i found that AIRCEL had forcibly attached a "cricket SMS" pack and started deducting 50 paise everyday from 09-10-2012. I raised the issue with their complaint desk at 198 and got a complaint number 1-10194264215 registered from a reluctant cc executive on 12-10-2012, who also said the so called "cricket SMS" pack has been deactivated.

But, they are continuing the deductions (@50 paise/day) even now.

I was actually planning to port another number in my family to AIRCEL, but this kind of attitude of AIRCEL towards customers has made me think otherwise.

Now, i can neither transfer the remaining balance to another AIRCEL number and escape this illegal and unauthorized deductions by AIRCEL nor can I get out of their network till completion of 90 days (which is 2 months away).
This is the logic behind AIRCEL looting from newly ported customers. Just imagine the plight of a customer if had recharged for a higher amount (especially those extra talktime recharges). Never recharge for higher amounts!

This experience of mine, I think should be a forwarner to people planning to port to AIRCEL.
 
Most operators are doing the same, i had my amount reveresed from Vodafone too. It is most likely to happen when you are in Prepaid.
 
yes you have to go to nearby library and they do return your balance back.i used to fiddle with airtel all the time during my college days and got my refund.But had to be careful of not repeating the gallery,had to choose new gallery every month.

Wasnt there some number to deactivate all services which was recently made mandatory ?
