Indeed a Big Achievement, As we are in the Elite group of 6 countries capable of 5,000 kms range. It covers whole china and can Drop multiple Nuclear payloads with a single Missile

They say the range is about 5000km. I suppose we can't reach Australia from the main peninsula, but if we fire it from Andaman and Nicobar Islands then we can reach a part of Australia. So, in my opinion it can also reach Australia.
