Adware On The Mtnl Login Site?

Hi Guys!!!

Firstly I want to thank everyone for providing all the great info on this forum… I wouldn’t have been able to connect as soon as I did without it. I got connected yesterday...

My question to everyone is that I noticed adware (A small window with an Ad pops up at the bottom right had corner) when I logged in to check my usage at “http://register.mtnl.net.in”!!! Is this normal??? I tried a scan with Ad-Aware SE but it didn’t detect anything… Has anyone else been infected with it???

Hi Guys!!!Looks like I jumped the Gun!!! It’s an adware alright but its not on the MTNL Login site!!! I got infected when I installed a plug-in for Max... I am extremely sorry!!!It all started when I was thinking about the hits the Login site must b getting and since there are no ads I thought that MTNL might have put up an ad but I was wrong…Please Ignore this Post!!!
