advice reqired- can a pre-configured wi-fi router be used?

i used it on symbian fone for over 6 months........

Nice. Mind sharing the steps or any links explaining the same ?

1. set up a wireless adhoc n/w.

2. bridge lan and wireless.

worked for me.

@aatuifGood post. Clicked "like" but do not know whether recorded.Option does not seem to be present in my OS Windows 7 Professional .How do you bridge LAN and wireless.?
 

To bridge connections, select the two connections you want to bridge, right click and click the " Bridge connections " option.

good post. seemed to work. unfortunately not for me. at a moment it seemed lyk tho.@aatuifdude. have done exactly wat you posted here. the syste,m setup and bridged my lan connection but my phone is not able to find it smhowalso my lan stopped working after bridging the connection.
