Worst experience with ACT fibernet

I applied for ACT connection 25 days back and they promised that they will install and activate connection with in one week. When I called customer care after 1 week they said they will do it in 2 days. After that every time when I contact customer care or ACT office they say that they will do it in 1 or 2 days. Now I have waited for 25 days and still I have no connection. So I decided to go with other internet service providers and I asked for my money back. they said they can not immediately give money back and it will take another 15 days to get my money back. Now I am not sure they will give my money back.
I had worst experience with ACT Fibernet customer care and their office staff.
If you are planning to get new connection, think before you go for ACT Fibernet.
 
[Latest Update,16 June] : The expected date of installation has been notified to me by the customer care when I called them recently, it is moved to
30th JUNE from 15th JUNE(which again depends on terms and conditions, which are known only to One Mr. Babaji)

[i.e. In the best case, Installation will be done 30 DAYS AFTER MY REQUEST and Payment done in JUNE beginning,
I suspect I MIGHT NOT LIVE TO SEE THAT DAY 😀 ]


[Original] One of the worst service ever:

I have requested for ACT Fibrenet on June beginning 2015 and made advance payment of Rs. 7176/- towards the same.
However, its been 15 days already and there has been no installation, verification or a callback yet.

I have called customer care numerous times but have not received any suitable response yet.
(One of the executives even sympathized with me, told I wish I could help but the other team does not respond, I am very sorry 🙂 )

I have already escalated Request No 0004857432 on June 12th, even
then there is no response.

I have already mailed to APPELLATE authority and NODAL officer (one Mr. Suresh, this is supposed to be the highest level of escalation) but even these guys are so pathetic that they do not respond.

Sadly the feedback of other people is similar 🙁

WORST Service I have ever seen. DONT Go For ACT.

I had requested ACT connection On Mar 9 2015 and Agent by Name Vinodh had come near my home and took money for the connection and left. I got a payment confirmation mail for registered mail id. They told they need to install a junction box in my home and I said yes. After a week one Saturday(Mar 14) they came and installed Junction box and when I asked about internet connection first they said in the evening someone will come. No body cam till Sunday. I called this agent he told he will get it done by Monday. Monday also no body turned up and I started calling the agent 4 5 times a day. He is not picking my call now. I raised compliant with customer care twice and every time they give false promise saying it will be resolved in 24 working hours. I got fed up and now I asked for cancellation and for refund.

ACT is BAD CONNECTION, PATHETIC SERVICE ,RUDE BEHAVIOR OF AGENTS

I am going to file a complaint if they don't refund me with in a week.

Dont ever go for this ACT

Hey Guys, I just want to share a bad experience with ACT broadband Bangalore. I stay in Horamavu area in Bangalore. I paid three month rental in advance to make sure I get uninterrupted service. From last three days my broadband is not working. I made several calls to customer care, the same reply "Sir give me 15 minutes, I will get back to you". They say this knowingly that customer care do not have permission to call and customer, they can only receive the calls. Few people called but do not give any satisfying response. Everyone says I will get back to you in 15 minutes and then disappears. I tried calling their manager (Gyanendra) and his manager (Prakash), the answer was same, I will get back to you. They block the mobile number, they don't pickup the phone and if you call from some unknown land line number they will pickup and say the same thing "I will get back to you in 15 minutes" and then disappear. I sent mail also from their website, got call also from their and the same reply "I will get back to you in 15 minutes". I have to use internet from outside as it is vital for me due to some urgent work, but whatever it takes these people do not understand. I never expected such a bad service from ACT, I have decided to disconnect it, even if I loose money. I suggest NEVER to go with ACT broadband, at least if you want uninterrupted service. If you can manage without broadband for a week or so then you can opt for it.Lalitesh

I was trying to find out the cheap & reliable internet connection / internet service providers available in Horamavu area.
Could you pls guide .
 
This query is with ACT Broadband. I have taken a connection from ACT towards the end of December, 2015. I have a major issue with the services. As many have mentioned above, the services are very bad. I still do not know how you all get to talk to someone on their help line number. Every time I call that number ... I am always put on hole despite the fact that they announce every now and then that I am very important for them. My major complaint has been that my office Skype for business does not connect into the server with this service, while my colleague in the eastern part of Bangalore can connect to the same office Skype for Business without any trouble. It easily connects with Airtel 4G. Infact, now I am just planning to close the service with them. Is anyone else also having the same issues? Is there any solution at all for this in the western part of Bangalore or again as prejudiced by BMTC and other services, we just shutup and put up with it?
 


Hey guys, right now, having a horrendous experience with ACT Fibrenet ppl. Are they thugs or what !!

I got lured into bandwidth and speed, installed their net. First fifteen days were good, but after that, the net connection became inconsistent.But my troubles hadn't begun yet. I cancelled their services and paid up their dues. Despite that, everyday I get dozens of calls asking for payment when I don't even have the connection. Their customer service is always busy. Some of the callers speak like goondas. I am told that this company is owned by ppl with questionable background. If you are looking at installing ACT Fibrenet in Bangalore, god bless you !!
