(Urgent) Need feedback on my new Canvas Spark

So i have purchased Canvas Spark Q380 Android Phone. Now i realize that Phone may be faulty. I am not sure.

I charged my phone to 100% last night. When i woke up, i saw my battery dropped to 80%. So its 20% battery drop in just 10 hours. My Wifi was off. My SIM hasn't even activated. No Apps running.

Is there a problem with my battery? Does such high battery usage normal?

Snapdeal offers 7 day return back facility. Its my 5th day and i am thinking of returning the phone.
 
check the android battery setting to see what consumed the battery.
 
Indeed. If the SIM isn't able to authenticate wih the home network, it goes through a fresh process of acquiring a network lock each time authentication on home network fails.

Try keeping the phone on airplane mode/using an activated SIM and see.

However, if you're on day 5 of day 7, getting it replaced asap, no harm done. 😀
 


yeap. without actually using the phone with an active sim card, it would be foolish to judge the phone wrt battery life.
airline mode should give you excellent battery life if there are no actual issues with the phone.
 
My SIM still not activated. But when i took out the SIM, i think i am getting good Battery performance. Charged to 100% last night. In morning its down to 98% which looks normal. My SIM is about to get activated anytime now. I will check again.
