Browser optimisation using google web accelerator

I installed google web accelerator today and i am confused weather it has optimised web browser. only difference i found was that when i am browsing chinese site like
goodsun
users using this accelerator please comment????

tried it. later read on the web that it has security related issues. like people getting logged on to forums with other user's id. not much difference in surfing. practically a waste of resources.

Right now, web accelerator is in beta stage and so has many bugs. :angry:Also, it requires web accelerator optimized sites containing a special tag. The sites not having this special tag in the html code are not cached locally and hence no gain in speed. 😀So give it the time to mature and the sites to be optimised. :lol:

i am getting arround 16 min saved after browsing for 1 hour. i do not understand what is this calculation all about. they say that it is now only works best is US and Europe. i am analysing this possiblity with google accelarator
i tried the site
indiaspeed
i reads 450kbps(kilobits/sec)
i try the site
www.pcpitstop.com
i get 256-270 kbps
what i found is when the servers are in india we get more bandwidth
(correct me if am wrong)

this is where web accelarator come into play
IF google places servers in india for web accelaration the speed will increase exponentially.

That's evident even without google web accelerator !

Try browsing an Indian sites like : http://yahoo.co.in or http://bsnl.co.in
And Foreign sites like : http://softpedia.com or http://intel.com

You will see that Indian sites are speedier than foreign sites. Because the DNS servers find it a smaller route for indian sites... 😀

since google claim that they have virtually unlimited bandwidth i think the bandwidth to forign sites will increase with google server resulting faster webviewing(only if google have servers in india)
