Bought from Amazon.in for 1975.
Basically double the price of a regular 32GB pendrive, but I think it's worth it.
@chromaniac how much speed do you get on your SanDisk Ultra? It also claims to provide 100MB/s write speed. Mine goes up to 97. My old Sony 8GB one was only around 3MB/s, so good upgrade for me.

I have not purchased any high end usb3 pen drive though i probably should buy one. sadly usb3 is still not popular enough. hopefully with usbc things would change.

One warning is that, if you want to make the pen drive bootable, don't go for SanDisk extreme.
I didn't need to make it bootable, so I went for it anyway.
Another thing is it gets a bit warm(no biggie) when plugged in.
You didn't get the ultra? I thought you did, from a post in January.

i think about buying a lot of things 🙁 i do not always go through with the purchase.

Bought one finally!

Not sure if it is going to be much use as USB3 drives usually do not work well as bootable media.

Why not?

I have one from Corsair. It seems be working fine. Anything that needs to be looked out for?

dunno. last year i had a tough time trying to install windows on my machine. turned out the issue was that i was using a usb3 pen drive on a usb3 port. switching to an older 8gb usb2 drive worked fine.

appears to be a wide spread thing as well.

looks like an issue with older bios? god knows. have not tried in recent days however.

now i think should have bought a 32gb version. because the whole point of usb3 is to transfer more data faster 😛 and 16gb is not even enough to handle complete tv series these days 😀
