My internet services has been stopped suddenly and I am calling to customer care executive from morning. I just called 5 times there and they are not resolving my issue.
At fifth time they told me that my email address is entered wrongly so that I didn't get the bill on my email and the payment is not done that is why my connection is being stopped.

So my question is who entered wrong email address at the time of data entry and why do I suffer for that?
I mean, what type of services is this? It's ridiculous. I just paid my bills today in the morning for what I was not aware about.
No notification to me before terminating my services.

And when I asked to transfer the line to higher authority to resolve the issue so she said there is no option available in reliance to transfer line. Is this reliance service?

Account ID 100121627739

I want to number of higher authority to complaint on this.

If Reliance Broadband customer care does not attends to the problem, neither appellate or pgportal is going to help. My wimax connection was suddenly stopped and repeated complaints to customer care, appellate and pgportal didnt help, I had to surrender my connection and make repeated calls and repeated complaints to get them to give me a waiver on the outage period. Reliance still owes me a part of the bill amount I paid them because they have no mechanism to correct the bill beforehand, the bill has to be generated and any dispute has to be registered with them and then it will be adjusted in the next bill.

i get a support call after 3-4 days of complaining. by that time, the problem is usually resolved. funny enough a new problem appears 2 hours after their call which means i have to complain again and then wait for the problem to fix in a day or two and then deal with the calls on the 3rd day. :\

right now reliance is down. probably would remain down during the night. might get lucky and it could be back by morning. otherwise it's a mess till monday morning.

Hehe. Pricing is the only thing rcom has got going for themselves. 😀

just need to find an alternative connection that i can replace dad's airtel with. with 9gb per month... i have to be very careful using his connection on my machine.

Meanwhile spectranet has finished laying cables up to society gate. One more step towards hopefully getting rid of airtel.

@chromaniac

Try BSNL EVDO if you're feeling adventurous 😀

Actually, I was using TIKONA from last 5 years and I really appreciate them for the services. They have wireless service but it is more powerful then wireline service. When a sales executive reach to me with Rcom plans.
I decided to switch to rcom, but now I fill my decision was totally wrong. They call themselves one of largest group but there is no service of it.
I mean this is ridiculous.
Even they do not have any senior person to talk. When I asked the customer care executive to transfer call to any senior person so she said that there is no such facility in reliance to transfer call. When ever I call to fix the issue she always said 24 - 24. There is no such a responsible person.

Now why a customer suffer if any data entry operator or the sales person add wrong email address, And the customer not getting any notification.
The CC Executive is "Poonam"
The Sales person is "Ashish" (This person is very bad. I never refer anyone for him.)

it needs to work 24x7. otherwise i am probably going to get murdered. biggest mistake i did was introducing my dad to internet.

Try the rcom 797/949 then. Was in sector 31 market last weekend. I believe there is a CDMA tower there. Signal strength was full and speeds were around 1 Mbps, which is the max, considering speeds on most towers seem to be capped at 1 mbps.

So, if your place is near the market. It *might* be worth a try.

If you can live with 1-1.2mbps, reliability is top notch. CDMA data has never let me down [emoji14]

the problem is the same... i need it to be on 24x7 because my dad is not going to turn it off at night and turn it on in the morning. you previously indicated that dongles do not usually handle 24x7 operation well due to heat 😛

plus there is this other problem where i prefer to have a landline at home. i can technically start using reliance for landline by getting that activated again 😛 but would need to drag another cable from my room to dad's for the phone.

reliance jio would offer landline facility?

Well, heat is a limiting factor. But the general lack of options lead me to suggest the same things again. Compromises have to be made [emoji14]

They can since they have the license. Whether they would is a different case.
