hi, I have been using hathway since 3 years & I must say its become the worst ISP there today, I would advice anybody against taking hathway...as I am using it at 3 different places & all sux. They provide lan connection at my home for 800 /unlimited & since the beginning used to give max 6 kb now when everybody is giving better speed at cheaper rates their speed started drop & when I called the help desk that I was getting 2/3 KB download they checked & the guy is telling yes this is a shared lan connection & 3 KB is perfect speed I shud be getting, if I want better speeed then I shud go for their modem connection, I told him as a matter of fact I am using their modem 256 KB connection at my office & only after evening I get 22/23 KB speed otherwise its 12/15 KB speed, where again he checks & tells me ya there is no problem that is ok speed will vary ???? They have become totally incompetant...I was using 1 gb limit at office for 128 KB sceme & they changed their schemes & made them cheaper but it took me 1 1/2 month to convince them to change my scheme & atleast inform me about new schemes, they shud be trying to retain their customers instead of trying to just get new customers & give bad service to existing ones....terrible...stay away from hathway, I have changed to exatt.

whom is here on exatt?????...and yup i too hav hathway and i have posted there shit on 1 such topics.....now also i even dont call the customer care as i know they will talk shit and increase my desperation.......i dont know how they monopolized in my area?????.......this damn exatt guy ..i called him on march 24 to connect me.......2 months passed no respond....now he is so much frustrated of me that he disconn the call when i call him...lol..... may b ill go with suck king no 1 sify....becoz i bet it is much better than hathway...atlest a person can download 150mb a day atlest....this suckers dont allowed that also..........

Well maybe its my luck but its 20 days of daily calling up & yet Exatt have not installed the connection...$#@$ I wasted my whole working day waitng for them to come as promised....anyway they were going to charge 475 +30% (Maintainence) + 10% s.tax for 128 speed 🤔
viwake same here.....u r luky its only 20 days your side...i started calling them since 24th march and still day b4 yesterday i used to call.....after frustration....even i m using hathway 24 online same as yours.....i m going with their broadband liteway night unlimit plan...has no other option....or else had to go with sify..........................now will wait for exatt to connect....and if they does will dc the hathway plan...........but overall i still b loosing 2k bucks on hathway as instalation and reg fees..........
lol .... plz guys dont take exatt.. its going down.. they have cut their burst speeds to half... ( atleast for tthe connections which they are giving thr cto's... ex. kms, space, etc .. i dont knw anymore ) .. i spk to lot of ppl at exatt higher post ofcourse.. and they gave me their helpless replies that they are short of band width n all.. .. thats like being a total n00b at being an ISP.dont waste yr installation on it.. unless u wnna really gamble for their low monthly rates but i really dont feel that they shall sustain.. dont knw really how they can afford UL 512 kbps at 1400/- ..!!!!wen big shots like vsnl n al are charging abt 2k for 128k and so on..if u guys are looking for a reliable connection i think pacenet shud hold u in good sted... even though its expensive but reliable... i'll be soon disconnected frm exatt july onwards coz my cto has cut off his relations wid them... so i m looking forward to using my 5th ISP .!cya... Whenever some body is trying to change things around they get down easily...Talking about exatt here...This is first ISP which had taken the initative of providing real UNLIMITED always on connection but now what i hear is they are going down....That is obvious .Although they had taken the initiative the real power lies in the hands of govt. which consider such steps as predatory and easily bypass the interst of the consumer.....Long live INDIA
well my story goes on I sent faxes to their Sales manager complaining & finally he replied said to give hime 1 more day, I said ok otherwise I want refund, next day no one turns up, again he calls yesterday apologizing and says by 9am tomo it will be fixed anyhow, finally they come at 12pm.... i sent them back & am going for refund on the instalation charges anyhow. damn I am stranded now with only 24880000... :angry: good old mtnl...
lol..not the 1st time som1s geting duped for a NarrowBand connection.!every1 is learning it the hard way .. and i mean HARD!anyways for wat its worth... they have currently restored by bandwdth to wat i m actually paying for ( thank God for that ) ... but there are soo many disc. its not even funny.. and frequent short downtimes .. ( really annoying ) ..i still havent planned wat to do .. abt continuing wid the connection .. lets c..
so wht........i paid 5k bucks for their broadband plan on 15th jun...they cleared the cheque on 20th june........still i m waiting to get the connection.........reason...they r short of modem................and they r partner of stars...bullshit
