BSNL Broad band speed and link

Hi, I am having BSNL broadband connection.Of late the speed has drastically come down.Further ADSL link goes off now and then.This frustrates while browsing.Any solution?

I had same problem some months ago, ask some in-charge of BB in your area exchange to change the pairs of your connection in the exchange. It took me long time to convince them that the problem was at their end.

'azure' sorry for the confusion, I was in hurry when writing that reply.
Well my problem was that my ADSL link would get off (minimum 1-2 times; max 10-12 times) in an hour and BB speed was slow as well. After checking everything on mine side(even changing modem, the problem remained). It took me a month to convince babulogs at exchange(used to talk with them couple of times in a day) that the problem was on their side, then supervisor in mine exchange changed the pair at exchange in which BB line and telephone line are connected, i.e. the wires were loose in exchange from which my telephone line is connected to exchange.
