Does it make any difference whether unlimited calling is included in broadband plan OR subscribed with Rs.99 rental?

Friends,
I have been charged CLIP facility in my first bill. I complained it. I am told that if I can share any number for which Caller ID is not charged, they will reverse my CLIP charges.

Can someone please check their bill and share number(by private message)? Preferably from Gurgaon/Haryana/Delhi.

Of course it is. This is airtel being airtel.
Some operators charged for it, but that was a long time ago.

my cordless does not support indian caller id standard so i have no idea if i have this facility or not. checking the bill.

i see no mention of caller id on my bill. i do have a local instrument which should confirm if caller id is activated on my connection or not. would check in the morning. remind me?

Well, I am talking to CC guy now. He has given me waiver of CLIP charges for current bill and confirmed that CLIP will never be charged again.

I did not have to tell Sushubh's number or any other info.

i think i should not distribute the airtel number like i distribute my mobile number as it is exclusively used by my dad and not me. :sweating:

Thanks Sushubh. Please remove your phone number from public post.

If you want to make the caller id work just buy a dtmf to fsk converter. It would cost around rs 500. Looks like an adsl splitter. Just plug and forget.
