How to get rid of irritating 8 digit number

there is 2 way communication otherwise how will Tata Sky monitor my tv usage?
I doubt it. Coz if it that was the case then requesting movies on showcase would have been possible through the use of tatasky remote. Tatasky do however say that the existing connection cannot be used at a different location unless the installation is done by their engineers which does suggest that they have the co-ordinates of our location.

I wish there was some way of getting rid of it.

I think fixing the Dish precisely to point to the Satellite ( Insat 4A in case of Tata Sky) requires very accurate skills so as to get maximum signal strength i.e. why they say it should be done only by there engineers.At some point of time we may test it while changing our location ( shifting to new rented house 🙁 )I doubt if there is any tow way communication
