Tikona - Daylight robber is coming..Run... Run... Run...

My Tikona Out Line Story
--Happened in Chennai
--Paid 2 month advance along with service tax and service charges for the 40GB 2mbps plan.
--And I need to pay only after two months, i.e from 3rd month onwards
--All process including installation happened with in a day , wow what a service
--But speed never touched even 1 mbps except the time of the demo and instillation, From the very next day onwards it was always below 1 mbps
--Ok fine leave about speed, it will never get connected most of the days.
--And the state of art customer support, 15 minutes minimum waiting time to get the operator. And the operator will drop your call with out resolving it.
--Forgot to mention, you need to call the tolled number to get the better service as per Tikona suggestion. i.e apart from resolving the issue and wasting time, you will lose money too 🙂. Interesting!!!
--In sumy you'll never get connected when you wish. You need to use internet only when Tikona get connected. Since we don't have any other work and Tikona is the only Internet provider in the entire universe we will wait for our turn, like in last century trunk calls!!!
--After couple of weeks I've lost complete faith in Tikona, No response to complaints, no one will pick your calls, most of the time network will be down etc...
---As usual I've decided to disconnect it after two months since I've already paid two month in advance
---I've took the connection on 22-Mar and requested for disconnection on 16-May
-Story Part II
--There comes the next smart move from Tokona, instead of disconnecting the connection Tikona send me a bill soon after requesting for the disconnection.
--When I've called customer care(after spending 30 minutes to get the line) they said like Tikona will bill generate bill on 15th of every month and I am liable to pay the amount for the next billing cycle.
--i.e.I've paid 2 month rental in advance on 22-Mar and requested for disconnection on 16-May even though I can use up-to 21-May Tikona generated a bill on 15 and asking me to pay the remaining 24 days amount in advance. And the interesting part is that I've received the bill only on 17-May followed by the request I've made on 16-May to disconnect the connection. Only those who took PhD in cheating can take such a move. What a move, really appreciated even-though I am a looser.
--And as usual i didn't paid the bill
-Story Part III
--Then comes the next bomb from Tikona, legal notice
--After couple of months later I've received a legal notice from Tikona for not paying the bill amount including the late fee and interest charges.
--I've discussed the issue with one of lawyer and he advised me that, if the amount is less than 1000 better to pay the amount and settle it, since Tikona is famous for making money like this.
--I've considered that I've paid the money to a daylight robber to save my life
--Since Tikona is making money mainly by cheating people only not by doing business!!!

If you have proof of disconnection request then y pay?
 
Do not worry brother !! They did the same to me.Write some threatening letter to them
They will keep sending bills.just do not pay bills.simple!!
I wrote them similarly via emails

I am getting another invoice B1-XXXXX .will u cancel my service soon ? or I may need go for legal ways through my company otherwise if I get another bill for a service that I am no longer using.It is cancelled on 9th January by field engineer with receipts and my renewal date in 15 January.STOP HARASSING

By considering the comparatively low subscription and data plan charge I had subscribed ##Tikona## Broadband Connection ADBBM4M800 Plan.


Within two hours of installation the speed got deteriorated to such low that unable to load a simple html webpage. The latency was around 3500 to 45000ms.

Now it's been more than 4 months they were never able to provide me a stable connection. A horrible experience. If one is lucky he may get 1hr of stable connection in a day. In my case most of the time there's no connection.


PLEASE DON'T EVER SUBSCRIBE TO TIKONA IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS INTERNET USER. THEY ARE FOCUSED HOW TO CHEAT AND FOOL THEIR CUSTOMERS. THEY HAVE MADE MY LIFE MISERABLE.
