oh.. what a surprise.. wait a sec.. thats what happens when u give crappy service! duh!!tata WILL burn n get screwed.. unless it manages to give some proper attention to its broadband service..
 
why did vsnl buy 7star services for 70-80 million?!! services here have degraded so much. i m on 7star but neighbours on vsnl (sharing same network though). we all have so much problem from 1 week. net is down full day because of flooding or switch problem. at night offices close and hence flooding reduces and hence net works but wats the use when its down in daytime? neither tata ppl or 7star ppl do anything. probably they want each other to do the job.if vsnl wud have understood the real problem and solved it they wud def have been the top isp. but well now thats their fate! rare area where TATA failed miserably.
 
heh. tata does not have a good record when it comes to passenger vehicles. they might be the second largest automaker in the world but any sane person would not go and buy their car 😉
 
wait a minute..VSNL/Tata is No.6 only in total Internet including dial-up and not in broadband!
 

by next year it wud not be in list at all LOL
 
ah.. i got a tata car.. thanks so much Sushubh!! :-/tata better do something.. i really dunno whats stopping them from becoming the best in India.. they are certainly capable of that..
 
i hope the fiat collaboration with help them improve the quality levels of indica. atleast the new grill look very nice. i hated the old grill.
 
i remember seeing a supposedly new look indica that was supposed to come out.. saw it in overdrive or autocar.. not sure.. i guess that could be a good step forward..
 
they have the presence throughout the nation. early bird advantage and the support from the parent company satyam which sold them and ran away. and theri corporate connections are much better anyways.
 
sify percentage actually dropped. but since it already has lots of subscribers it has maintained 3rd spot.btw its amazing that BSNL/MTNL started just 2yrs back and already captured 65% market. And even then they are highly stable and reliable.to add to that MTNL is just in 2 cities. wud be interesting to see MTNL percentage holding in just mumbai and delhi over other ISPs.
 
Well BSNL I think would come up wid even more and better service to gain customers from its rival Airtel!!! Well the thing is BSNL has gone into laying Fiber by planning to float tenders by this year end and have FTTH established and give users a max speed of 8 Mbps thruput... It'll be used for IPTV and broadband I guess. Or maybe IPTV wud have a different line coming.. well in my city projects are beggining to heat up and BSNL are reviewing fibers to lay... (Imagine an Airtel Tech told me this news... 😛 )

PS: Info could be wrong...

He also told me that the fiber is not of that good quality.. I was asking him if they have corporate internet connections in my city for which he said the world's famous answer.... NO! Lets see what the Year of Broadband has in store for us....
